Safeguarding at Pathways School
Pathways School is fully committed to improving the lives of its students and their families and carers. We are dedicated to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and expect all staff and volunteers to share in this commitment.
We provide a safe, secure, and supportive environment for all members of our school community, but most especially our students.
Pathways School supports children and young adults with autism and complex needs. These learners may not have adequate communication skills to discuss incidents or express fear. Pathways School strives to create a proactive culture where the staff is trained to be vigilant and sensitive to issues and concerns pertaining to safeguarding and child protection. All our staff members are trained to level 3, as are our Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSL).
